Love Grows Here

On Sunday, May 5, 2019 Rev. Dr. Don Messer appealed to us on behalf of 250 orphans in Africa, who are afflicted with AIDS.  He celebrated with us the 35 kids we supported last year.  That's $7,000.00 from Northglenn UMC.  WE REACHED OUR GOAL OF $8,000+.  What a ministry we have!  I would not only like to challenge us to support those kids again, but to increase the number to 40.  Forty children able to receive support from us, as they live each day with AIDS.

Foretaste of what's on the table at GC2020

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (UM News) — In a gathering that emphasized the denomination's impasse over homosexuality, United Methodists received a preview of some of the proposals that will be before General Conference delegates in Minneapolis. Heather Hahn reports.

Ash Wednesday Service begins the Lenten Season where the Church is reminded of the mercy and forgiveness proclaimed in the gospel of Jesus Christ and the need we all have to renew our faith. It became the custom of the Church that before the Easter celebration there should be a forty–day season of spiritual preparation. Therefore, I invite you in the name of the Church, to join us in this Holy remembrance on February 26, 2020 at 7:00 p.m.
