Rev. Tom Peacock  comes from Longmont, Colorado.  His pastoral/ministerial objectives include proclaiming the good news of God’s love to all persons and to encourage building a community of faith grounded in God’s love.

He enjoys getting to know people of all ages and their diverse life journey stories.  He sees the local church as a body of faith carrying out ministry to persons in their community and to the world.

He began ministry as a student pastor in the Western North Carolina conference of the UMC while attending High Point University.  Following graduation, he attended the Iliff School of Theology where he continued ministry in the Rocky Mountain Conference of the UMC.

He has served in rural, suburban, and urban churches across our conference to include St. Paul UMC Pueblo, 1st UMC Lander, 1st UMC Burlington, Howard UMC in Last Chance and, Northeast Colorado churches.

He has also served outside the local church as director of a Child placing agency in Douglas, WY and Director of Community corrections in Sweetwater Co Rock Springs, WY.  He served as Chaplain of the South Dakota Veteran’s Retirement Home in Hot Springs.
